The big meals were midday. Ranch style chicken on Wednesdays and Sundays. Thursday lunch was corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. Friday was fish.
The cook, known as "Joe," was a heavy drinker but never missed preparing three meals a day, all summer long.
After the evening meal, tables and chairs were moved to make room for dancing. But now, let's take a nap in our cabin, and rest up for the evening activities.
