5/16/11 -- Monday
Launch day -- Notice how the keel just kisses the water when the boat is unloaded. The box provided a place to sit, so I could experiment with center seat (weight) and oarlock placement.
Now I'll install the seats, paint the interior and take it to Wisconsin later this week.
Think I might add a second set of oarlock sockets.

5/17/11 -- Tuesday
After lunch with airplane guys, I did a bit of work on the boat. Painted the bottom with another coat of Kilz. Sanded and filed the forward seat support joints. Made side supports for the aft seat. Mixed up some epoxy. Coated the bottom of forward seat, then thickened remainder of 3 oz. and glued the aft supports and the forward seat on its supports.
What's with that green color on inside of transom? Wierd.

5/18/11 -- Wednesday
Mohs stitches removed early afternoon. All went well but didn't leave much time for the boat. Cut out the aft seat and used some thickened epoxy to hold its cross member in place.
