Frank Miklos said: Thought this looked familiar, saw it was from Fairview, PA put 2 & 2 together and realized that this boat was at our local boat show at Conneaut Lake a number of years back.
It was owned by the widow of Charlie Cross (former Chris Craft & Century Dealer on Chautauqua Lake, Jamestown, NY).
Not a bad boat; a few things wrong. Two glaring things are the waterline location and the Century Name location.
Here is a photo of the boat at the Conneaut Lake Classic show in 2006:
Following photos were posted on ebay:
Frank Miklos to Grant MacLaren: the windshield is a tubular brass frame with plexiglass. The front deck is plywood covered in white vinyl. the edging of the vinyl is a 1/2 x 1/2 brass angle. The only thing standard on the deck would be the lift ring and flange and the bowlight. The plywood is mounted on top of the covering boards to give a 1/2 lift. The wood is 3/8" + the thickness of the vinyl and padding takes it to nearly 1/2".
