Rear seat --
1/3/15 -- I emailed John Nelson (78 American Skier), asking about the rear seat in his boat:
Hello, John. Grant MacLaren here. I have a '77 American Skier, so am not wanting to buy your boat. I would like to see a photo of the rear seat in your boat, because I'm interested in building rear seats for both my '72 and my '77 "Skiers." Seat base is marine plywood wrapped in carpet and then screwed to seat cushion. It is removable for more room if not carrying any passengers. Also found these aluminum frames on ChristinesMarine.com that I thought about using. These are for observers seat but could be modified to work. My boat had aluminum seat frames when I bought the boat.
