That list number (4473) says it's a marine carburetor. According to Holley info it's 450 cfm which is a good 302 carb. Same carburetor list number talked about in the email I sent with a link to a CCF discussion. Here's the link again in case you didn't see it. His carb was a 4473 also.

The fuel bowl inlet will have to be replaced, to accommodate the steel fuel line fitting. Is this what is needed?

After speaking with Dave Conrad about the carb being dropped, and inverted -- and thinking about Mark's warning about inverting it, I delivered the Holley to Bob Kunz today, 10/9/14. Bob will rebuild it. (He did.)

(10/16/14) Bob thinks my carb. is probably not a marine carb. He says on a marine carb., the tubes at the top curve around so any excess fuel is dumped back into the throats(s).

He is very aware of the marine requirements (operating mostly at lower RPMs) so he's decided if it ran good before the engine rebuild, we might as well leave things as they were.
