After speaking with Dave Conrad about the carb being dropped, and inverted -- and thinking about Mark's warning about inverting it, I delivered the Holley to Bob Kunz today, 10/9/14. Bob will rebuild it. (He did.) Click photo for larger image. (10/16/14) Bob thinks my carb. is probably not a marine carb. He says on a marine carb., the tubes at the top curve around so any excess fuel is dumped back into the throats(s). He is very aware of the marine requirements (operating mostly at lower RPMs) so he's decided if it ran good before the engine rebuild, we might as well leave things as they were.
