Friday, 9/15/17, we launched at Hannibal, then cruised to Quincy (via lock and dam 26) for the show. At Hannibal, we met up with the boats that had started at Grafton.

Saturday we cruised a few miles up river for hors d'oeuvres -- on Hogback Island island where The Quincy Boat Club has a cottage.

I had a gps hooked up on MacSkier. See a photo of its screen while waiting for the lock to admit us. Three times during the cruise it read over 50 MPH!

ALSO -- under the "SOLD' image on the last page of this website, find a youtube video made during the 2017. The guys at Quincy said watching it scared them -- because I was paying no attention to channel markers and probably running over wing dams. (I don't do much river-boating. Next year I'll follow the rules.)
