Launched at "Apache Day Use, Boat Access Area"
Nice piers here
The engine compartment is very clean -- and should stay that way, now that engine mount no longer interferes with water supply pump's drive belt.
(The fix.)
I saw only two cars in the cottage area. This could be the nicest weekend of the year to spend at the cottages. Take your pick of boat slips.
The new upholstery looks fine and works well. No more soaking wet stuff to dry out after a rain. Lots of storage under aft seat -- and the entire aft seat is can be quickly removed for easy access to engine.
The rear seat assembly can be awkward to move in and out of boat in one piece, so I made it easy to break the assembly down in two pieces. Just slide the hinge pins out of the sides of the seat to break down the seat into two pieces:
(The final cut had not been made when this photo was made.)
The lake has 26,000 acres of water. I'm headed south to the West Access Marina.
