A visit with
Charlie Ducheck

Need your Helicopter rebuilt?
I know a guy . . .

Charlie

On Tuesday (11/8/16) a few of our lunch group visited Charlie Duchek, the owner of Midwest Aeronautical Helicopter Services at his hangar in Pacific, Missouri.

Charlie

The two-man operation specializes in rebuilding Robinson Helicopters, aircraft made in Torrence, California. Charlie's operation is a factory-authorized service center, certified by Robinson to rebuild "timed out" ships.

When we visited, he had two model R44s in the hangar. The black one is Charlie's, the red one had been freshly rebuilt and sold to a customer that was to pick it up the day following our visit. Both powered by Lycoming engines.

We learned a lot and enjoyed our visit. If you'd like to know more about the market for Robinson helicopters, check out Trade-A-Plane.
